What is your favorite part about blogging

I love the freedom of writing and connecting with others.

Why did you start your blog

Started out as a joke, we were on our first trip away together.  Some of the other passengers on the cruise were a bit toffy nosed and looked down at us 3 and our friends. So we all sat around with drinks in hand laughing how my book (yet to be written) would make us famous and who would portray us in the blockbuster hollywood movie.  I then piped up “I will blog about our trip”.  So that’s how it initially started.

What is your favorite post?

They are all close to my heart.

What is your perfect snack?

Chocolate of course

Are you an early bird or night owl?

Neither – hate early  mornings unless a decent cup of coffee is thrusted into my hands.  Night Owl?  I love my bed too much

Name 3 blogs you love

I throughly enjoy all the blogs I follow, they all have something that inspires me.  Travel, makeup, fashion, chronic illness blogs.

If you could have any superpower what would it be

To be able to cure  Rare Diseases.

What is the most random thing that has ever happened to you?

Not sure about this one.  Oh it could be when Muriel and I were in Paris last year and near the Eiffel Tower.  We had managed to keep away from one of those scammers with the boards doing a survey.  We heard someone speak to us.  We kept walking, not another scammer. Then this guy approached us he had two young boys with him.  Speaking in broken French he wanted to know if we could take a photo of him and his boys in front of the Eiffel Tower.  We laughed and said yes of course – in Australian lol.  He laughed and said he was from Australia, turns out he was from Victoria. We took several photos for them.  He and his boys thought we were locals

What are you currently reading

About to start reading  Lyz Byrsky a West Australian novelist, her latest book – A Month of Sundays

What was the last photo you took – feel free to share it

Sunset at the beach by our house and my two dogs Betty and Sally

Last question – briefly describe your life in 3 songs

Sisters are doing it for themselves – A song that was played every night on our first cruise together.  Every night we danced to this song…We were sisters doing it for themselves!

When I was a teenager this song was popular – Black Magic Woman by Santana.  This song spoke to my soul and often you would find me dancing and twirling and being free.

Throw your arms around me by Australian band Hunters and Collectors.  I’m not sure why but when this song comes onto the radio I just start singing and I lose myself into it.

I really don’t think 3 songs could describe my life at all, but there you have it.

Im like Oprah…everyone gets a nomination! So if you do want to do this award please let me know as I would love to read your answers.
